Singing lessons are the perfect gift for anyone who loves to sing, or wishes they could join a choir, but lacks the confidence to take that first step.

A one-off lesson or a course of three or four will bring real pleasure and lasting results!  Who knows what talent lies hidden, just waiting to be teased out within the privacy of a one to one lesson?

Vouchers can be purchased for lessons to be taken at their own convenience, and remain valid for up to 12 months.

Recent Performances

In recent months, Christine has made several appearances in the local area, at the world music festival Rhythms of the World, and the Hitchin festival.

Eagle 4  presented their popular "M" programme. A Sunday morning concert with a glass of Madeira and a warm mince pie to banish the January blues. Further concerts followed, the featured composers beginning with "P" and later "S".

In the spring she sang with the Benslow Music Trust, Light Orchestra  and she appeared in an evening of operetta  with Wandsworth Symphony Orchestra under the baton  of Keith Stent.

In  August Christine sang  with Symphonia Academica in a concert of music from  the first world war and she later recorded a new  piece by John Rand called Britannia Fantasia.

A regular soloist with  Luton Music Club  she joined the  Frith Piano Quartet to present Beethoven's settings of Scottish and Irish  folk songs in October this year.

In November she was invited to appear with the Gamlingay Ensemble, singing Schubert's Shepherd on the Rock and songs by John McCabe.

A unique event - a study day for singers and accompanists.

A popular event for advanced pupils who wish to learn the art song repertoire and study a complete song cycle in detail.  Piano pupils of Kate Elmitt and singers who have specialised in German Lieder come together for an intensive day of study followed by a performance  of Schumann's much-loved work.
